Marsha Ambrosius scheduled for SXSW in Austin

Singer Marsha Ambrosius is one of the many great talents scheduled to perform in Austin for SXSW. The England native was 1/2 of the dynamic neo-soul duo "Floetry". The two went their seperate ways and haven't spoken in almost five years. "Being apart was like, 'Okay, I don't have to agree or not agree with anyone else. It's 100 percent how I feel,' and [my solo album] 'Late Nights & Early Mornings,' is a direct reflection of that freedom." She stated to TheBoombox.com

Last month she made a huge buzz when she dropped her video to her new single "Far Away". The video was a look into alternative lifestyle of two males, who faced discrimination while also sending a message about suicide. Now after Floetry ending, her three solo mixtapes and many features she now is ready to drop her first official solo album. "Late nights and Early Mornings" will be out March 1st. Nicki dissed you in a couple songs not over a whole mixtape and then charged $10 for it. o_0 (might I had who charges for a mixtape)This beef with Nicki is not going to help her "come-back" but hurt her career in the long run. Dawn Richard's "A Tell Tale Heart" Mixtape Review

Dawn Richard, Dirty Money's leading lady & former member of the hit girl group Danity Kane. Dawn has been traveling the world with Dirty Money and finally found the time to do some solo work as well. She recently dropped a mixtape titled, " A Tell Tale Heart". Being that I have been a fan of hers since the "Making the Band" series, I eagerly had to check the mixtape out. To my suprising it was everything I expected and then some. She captured that Dirty Money way of expressing love through music. All the songs are mostly love related but the beats, lyrics and her vocals range through out the mixtape giving you many sides to every story. She also throws in some uptempo female anthems like "Superman" "Biggest Fan"& "Runway".

It's hard to not to notice the vocal comparsions to Brandy in songs like "Hey" & Ciara on songs like "Vibrate". The songbird also gives us two songs that could definitely stand as singles such as "Me, Myself & Y" & "Broken Record".In all, I'm really impressed from her with this mixtape and hope that she uses this to go even bigger and better. We all know how Diddy has used artists to collect that "Dirty Money" and move on to the next.
